It's a New Year...

Stating the obvious everyone knows it's a new year and that means all kinds of things to each of us. Some of us focus on new goals and others look at it as a clean slate to start from.

What does it mean to you?

Me?

I look at it as a continuation, a stepping stone, and that we are just that much closer to summer! My favorite time of year!

I think it's exciting to think about what the future holds and what will happen in the next 12 months is full of hope and new opportunities!

Old Man Winter Is Here..

The sounds of snowblowers are heard throughout the neighborhood, the snow removal guys are out in full force, and the snow didn't stop falling until 3 this afternoon!

Definitely time to layer up, play in the snow, and of course shovel a little too!

Being a Part of the Community...

The last week has brought me some new opportunities that I look forward to being a part of.

The first opportunity that came knocking on my door is the Online Chair for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Truckee Tahoe!!! I am really looking forward to helping and gettting to know my community up close and personal!

Then a few days later I received an email about the Online Communications board position for the Reno Tahoe American Marketing Association!!!

I am finally finding ways to give back to my community and it feels great!

Reno Collective...

We found a great new community in Reno! It's the Reno Collective! It's a great place to collaborate, learn, and be a part of the technical community in Reno!

We plan on spending as much time there as we can!

Summer...

Our summer was fabulous! We went swimming, hiking, concerts, motorcycle rides, Truckee Thursdays, canoing, Beer Fests, rafting, Artown, and that's all I can remember for now!

We really know how to pack it in and we can't wait for next summer!
